Core modeling does not require a cloud account. Native .gfd projects and common interchange formats stay on your machine.
Offline CAD for 3D printing
Glassforge 3D Design is a native desktop CAD tool aimed at makers who want the convenience of a simple modeling workflow while keeping projects local. The founder release is available for Windows x64 and Arch Linux x86_64.
Why this exists
A lot of easy-entry CAD is browser-first, while many full professional tools bring more complexity than a small bracket, enclosure or repair part needs. Glassforge focuses on direct local modeling, real CAD geometry and the export formats makers use around 3D printing.
Core modeling does not require a cloud account. Native .gfd projects and common interchange formats stay on your machine.
OpenCascade B-rep geometry gives Glassforge a real CAD foundation for booleans, fillets, chamfers, shells and STEP workflows.
STL checks, lay-flat tools, tessellation presets and separate STL export keep the path to the slicer straightforward.
The founder purchase currently includes a verified portable Windows x64 package and a verified native Arch Linux x86_64 build.
Built around real maker jobs
